Karen Hill, Ed.D., LPCA, is a Senior Consultant for Modell Consulting Group, LLC. In her role, Dr. Hill is responsible for co-authoring training curricula and delivering MCG’s suite of FIND and SAFE trainings. Prior to joining MCG, Dr. Hill served as the Associate Director of Client and Forensic Services at Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center where she provided support and facilitated peer review for the forensic interview team. Additionally, she served for thirteen years as founding Executive Director of the Southern Tier Child Advocacy Center. During her tenure,

Dr. Hill worked with the Multidisciplinary Team to develop the forensic interview program and provided forensic interviews with children who have experienced abuse and trauma.

Dr. Hill currently serves as a faculty trainer at the National Center on the Sexual Behavior of Youth (NCSBY) and is co-author in the Senior Leader training curricula. In this role, she provides training and support to senior leaders to assist them in their efforts to implement evidence-based practices for youth with problematic sexual behaviors and their caregivers.

She has developed and delivered numerous trainings to Multidisciplinary Team members and other professionals on recognizing and responding to suspicions and reports of child abuse. Dr. Hill was co-author on the New York State Less is More and Minimal Facts curricula for mandated reporters and first responders on reacting to disclosures and reports of abuse. She served as Co-Chair for the NYS Juvenile Justice Strategic Planning Action Committee facilitated by the Division of Criminal Justice Services. She currently serves on the National Children’s
